DMRC is a good buy at this level imo...they are in a emerging mkt. and digital security is a hot sector right now...electronic watermarking has e-commerce, digital rights mgt. and electronic royalty implications...while i could find no company that DMRC can be directly compared to, Intertust is somewhat similar(ITRU)....ITRU ipo'd a little over a month ago...it has ramped rapidly...it trades at $138 per share giving it a mkt. cap of 5.2B!!!...their revenues ytd is only 850K(last qtr. 363K)...current price/sales ratio is approx. 3500!...on the other hand, DMRC trades at $56.5 per share, thus giving it a mkt. cap of 672M(shares outstanding only 10.9M)!...their ytd rev's are 4.2M(last qtr-2.1M)...if we assume their next qtr rev's to be near last qtr's, then the price/sales ratio would be approx. 88!(compared to ITRU's 3500, very weak rev's without a better year to year growth than DMRC)...if DMRC were to have a similar mkt. cap as ITRU, it would trade at $477 per share...while DMRC may seem very expensive to many at this level, compared to ITRU, it is dirt cheap...im certainly not saying that DMRC will be trading at $400 per share, but i do think it has a very real chance to run into the 100's...im holding my DMRC shares for awhile....jmho's of course.
