I'll buy you lunch too. I think AXTI is a long term winner and PANL is an interesting "lottery ticket".

Actually, if I wasn't so chicken due to the general state of things I would've made money from both. They both spiked nicely after you mentioned them <g>.

If you are going to be around the Stuart FL area in Feb, send me a PM.

BTW, AXTI isn't doing all that poorly. All the shorts exiting probably caused the spike, but that's just a transient thing.

AXTI is still on my watchlist, too.

On the recent rise and fall, I agree with John - it looks like a typical short-term trading pattern that you often see when there's a big gap down like it had on October 29. A rebound and then a retest. Hopefully it will hold at a higher low. Look at IT, similar pattern.

Else either tax-loss selling or in the worst case, another shoe to drop.

I thought PANL was FPD company... do they use LED's in their displays??
