American Technologies Group Goes ''Dot Com''; Receives Strong Buy
Recommendation From Leading European Financial Internet Publication

Business Editors

MONROVIA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 2, 1999--American
Technologies Group Inc. (ATG) (OTC BB:ATEG) Thursday announced that it
has completely redesigned its Web site and has added a full electronic
commerce section in order to take advantage of the growing business
opportunities of the Internet.
ATG's chairman and chief executive officer, Lawrence J. Brady
said, "We decided some time ago that, as a major company, we should
upgrade our Web presence. Our strategy, which is aimed at making ATG
known as a developer, producer and seller of high-quality,
environmentally friendly products, includes making it possible for
consumers to buy our products on-line, directly from us.
"In that way, we make it easier for people to find out who we are
and how good our products really are."
Each of ATG's consumer products, from The Force(R) Airborne Fuel
Treatment to its newest product, Screen Magic, is now either available
or will soon be available directly from ATG over the World Wide Web.
Brady went on to say: "In addition to providing ATG with a source
of direct retail income, the electronic commerce site will serve to
disseminate knowledge and understanding of ATG and its role in
improving environmental conditions on this planet. We are now truly a
'dot com' business."
ATG plans to list its Web site with all major search engines and
to provide professional web hosting in order to take full advantage of
the power of the Internet. The URL for the ATG Web site is
ateg.com.
The company also noted that it has received a strong "buy"
recommendation from Stockreporter.de, a leading European financial
internet publication. Past selections include FutureLink (FLNK),
Teltran International (TLTG) and Advanced Lumitech (ADLU).
Tim Kneib from Stockreporter said: "American Technologies Group
offers investors a solid ground floor opportunity to benefit from a
currently undervalued stock that is poised for significant upward
movement. We are happy to be one of the first independent analysts to
have identified ATEG and recognized its tremendous growth potential."
ATG chairman and CEO Brady said, "We are very pleased to have
been endorsed by such a prominent publication and added to a list of
its successful recommendations. It is a validation of the tremendous
progress we have made in redefining ATG and the fact that it is poised
for real success."
