Now a word on Breast Implants.. Thought that would perk up interest. IMDC.. looks really good. Inamed company reported earnings of 44 cents a share for the thrid quarter ended Sept 30 compared with a 4 cent loss. Sales rose 37% to $44 million from $23. Analysts expect Inamed will earn $1.15 a share this year. $1.50 in 2000, $1.82 in 2001. Hambrecht & Quist also recommends them (the stock not the implants) Company recently one upped Mentor in August it bought Collagen Corp. a maker of facila products used to treat wrinkles. Analysts say youth preserving procedures not only are becoming more common but people are also having them done earlier. Between Boca and California alone I say Inamed will do well. Personally I'd like to know what happens when you turn 80, do you go around with Demi Moore breasts and Grandma Moses' body? Or I guess you can blow up your whole body with collagen and risk looking like a barbie doll, all in plastic. I would try one, if I liked it I'd buy the other one. .... I never did fall for those "get two right away its cheaper that way"..
