The inventor of the technology, Dr. Syed S. Hyder, a professor of McGill University (Montreal), owns Alcitech2000. The agreement outlines the potential scope of the collaboration and the anticipated roles of the parties. This technology is of particular interest to companies and organizations in information technology, banking, finance, government and the media that communicate using AFU languages. Alcitech2000's pioneering technology allows computers to retain original shapes of fonts, like Naskh, Nastalique and Quaranic scripts, for display and printing of AFU languages. The technology will greatly improve the ease and efficiency of editing of these languages, which now may be conveniently transmitted via email.
