Education, my good man, might be an answer. There just are nowhere near as many folks that understand this stuff as (think) they do computers and microprocessors. That may be a blessing in disguise, though, as you don't get the micro-inspection that those subjects get...like Intel's latest flaw, or erratum of the last 2 days, is getting. I will try to do my part to get more larnin on these here network things.
