The customers of TV guide (at least the ones I know)
buy it to read about their favorite stars as well
as for the listings.

I am pretty sure that the guide plus service will present
text articles for news, weather, etc. This belief is based
on my exposure to an early incarnation of the service
from VideoGuide, which is now part of Gemstar. I think
much of the technology in guide plus came from VideoGuide.

So, it seems that the TV Guide text articles could
be made available in the same way.
