The one he "documented" (after the fact) was profitable in the sense of the aphorism "Never confuse brains with a bull market."

The trade lasted a nanosecond and had to be closed because he got the story wrong. The better trade would have been the exact reverse. The more impressive trade, one that would have showed true insight, would have been long CLS (or FLEX for that matter) and short BHE or PLXS or a second tier name or even JBL. He shorted the absolute best performer over the ensuing months of the top tier names.

Don't be starry-eyed. He exposed his apparent superficial knowledge with that dance and it was not a pretty picture.
