Might be OK if you don't mind going around naked. Others on thread might disagree, but my preference on selling calls is to go for a much closer expiration and do it several times in that thirteen months. Also, since this is one of the sacred Microsoftintelciscolucentworldcom stocks, and these are manic times, I would get long a higher strike for insurance. Of course, this advice comes from someone who bought puts on this POS last month and is therefore worth exactly what I charged you for it.
