<If you played the stocks on which I recommended puts, and my money management strategy, well, my record in the 90/10 was +135% in 1996, +124% in 1997, +72% last year. This year does not look nearly as good, with my 90/10 up just 21%.>

Is this what you call negative growth? <g> The trend isn't your friend...<g>

Michael/Earlie, thanks for your responses - wasn't intending to
pound on the bears, just a little frustrated that while
I've been sitting on the sidelines waiting for more
attractive stock prices (and earning a couple percent in
the bank), the market is going bloody crazy, this morning
up another 275/75 points as I type this -

Again, I'm not clear on what will precipitate a return to
what you are calling a normal 20 pe - but I hope it
happens swiftly and brutally - What are you basing your
expectation of a 40% haircut in earnings on ?

Regards,
DN

Michael, those percentages are for the /10 side of the account, right? Or have you been hitting more ten-baggers than Mark and Sammy combined. <g>

Just imagine how much more you'd be up over the last 4-5 years if you'd just bought YHOO, AMZN, or AOL and held it....you've have many times over your current profits without even making a single trade....
