Nike is a sleazy company that has gone so far as to use slave labor in their factories and these WTO protestors know that. Many of Nikes practices overseas are illegal here. But thats not my point, it is that right and wrong has a specific meaning for individuals involved and unless you are advocating absolute policies regarding law, where no exceptions are made, then this is as good an exception as any. Teenagers taking shoes from Nike at a WTO protest march is about the same as seniors driving to Canada to buy drugs because the drug companies are "gauging" them. Same thing. Stealing from an "evil" corporate entity. A bunch of seniors were on 60 minutes 2 weeks ago, nobody locked them up.
