Well, you won't get flamed by me!I want you on their jury becuase I don't want any books thrown at my babies.
I think there's a fine line here--trying to be careful that we have a respect for the law in general, equally applied, but understanding that there can be laws with which we disagree and may want to try to change by whatever means.
I would do just what those Seniors are doing if I needed to, but I would do it with the understanding that if for some reason I am caught, I will be prosecuted. Period. I can't whine afterwards that it was unfair. I knowingly choose it, even if it was a choice that seems to have not been much of one.
NOW-- that said, hopefully you and I are on that jury and we not only acquit those seniors, we join with them in trying to change the situation that forces them to do this.

Does that make sense, I hope? I'm making a grocery list at the same time.
So Lizzie, in conclusion, let us combine compassion, fairness, respect for our system, and a dozen eggs.
