BTH Blyth Industries Q3 shr rises +14.43% and cheap, mentioned yesterday had absolutely no gap up.. was a sleeper earnings play that awakens like Sleeping Beauty after the earnings report. I saw the deep correction and knew this would rise although there are no guarantees. Its the candlemaker some of you 'oldtimers' might remember from last quarter and the one before that.

I know the nasdaq was great today but I can pretty much guarantee that most of the rise of BTH would have been even in a down market. That is why the earnings plays are of such great importance. ADCT, ADI, CMVT even OCLI, AGIL, ALLR were all ex-earnings plays.

IONN yesterday's watch list up 17% on 600% more than average volume with 27 big block buys and only an 11 dollar stock. When the market is up big its still a good idea to go for the high flyers that are cheap.. SCMR also on yesterday's list was up 6% but at 220 dollars a share it's unlikely the average trader will buy 500-1,000 shares. You can spread yourself among a few stocks that way and make your money bring back much higher gains.
