The issue (I think) is what you paid for the drugs. If the seniors go to Canada and get a canadian doctor to write a prescription through the Canadian healthcare system they pay less... I think. And its A LOT less, like 10% of the US cost of the drugs. Maybe some Canadians can comment... on 60 minutes they showed a Canadian doctor writing the prescriptions... he refused to be interviewed and hid his face, etc. If you go to a pharmacy in Canada with an American prescription are drugs cheaper? I don't think so...

Anyway my position is not that there is too much wrong with this, theres obviously issues with medicare, etc. in this country. However its a similar sort of corporate theft imo.
