"I was under the impression that the funds don't _have_ to do anything. Atleast here in Canada, the index funds only "attempt" to match the returns.. there's no promise to do anything."

James that's really interesting re the secondary move that QCOM did with their addition.

Where yhoo is such a big and volatile stock, don't you think they'll all add it at as close to proportion as possible?
