Martin, Optical Networking companies are relevant to Global Crossing because they are the future of the internet and leading Global Network companies. I own Global Crossing because it is building a Global Network from scratch, that is the ultimate network that integrates very big Data Centers. It is using the best technology such as optical networks utilizing IP over WDM. GBLX has an excellent strategy to connect the largest cities around the world; and, as GBLX lights its fiber between continents, it will acheive unbelievable exponential growth in its voice, video & data traffic.

Most of my portfolio consists of companies that build the infrastructure for companies like Global Crossing. Since I lurk on this thread I felt like sharing some interesting news on one of the companies that I have been following for sometime now. Since the optical networking companies are very hot right now, with IPOs like Sycamore reaching incredible valuations, Sorrento Networks could be a player and therefore, I thought it might be of interest to some people on this thread. Plus, to know if Global Crossing is really using the best technology you have to keep up with these companies.
I enjoy lurking on this thread because of the good posts and news articles here.

Cheers,
JW
