My take of the NT / CSCO post is that NT would not want to enter unless they have a friendly reception from TM & NN. CSCO would not table an offer unless they intend to buy NN regardless of price. If CSCO bids they will / must win period.

Newbridge has many options to choose from not only selling the entire company...

Regards
Glenn

TA, for me it comes down to a simple fact: I'm in the deal this last time because of a potential buyout or merger.

We all know know that if this were not the case NN would be languishing in the teens at all-time lows. TM has had his chance and continues to disappoint the street with poor earnings. If he thinks for one minute, that he's got time to turn this thing around alone, he's sadly mistaken. The market has given him a vote of non-confidence in that strategy. I for one will sell out if I get the slightest hint that they're not seriously consider selling or merging. And I believe that the market will react violently to an about-face on his part!!!!!

Regards,
