The brilliant flash of conversation in the restaurants and the long musing silent walks through the dark, tall trees of the forest. That whole paragraph was like lovely poetry, nihil! I suppose achieving a balance of the two is the challenge...I wonder if Dan hungers so much for a log cabin in the woods becuase his job allows him so little time to meet the need of that other half. I'll look for Sand COuntry for his Christmas book pile. (Speaking of Christmas, we're thinking about spending a few days in Hawaii for some diving. I'll let you know if and when; maybe we'll be close to you and can "do lunch". I love saying that.)
