James, YOu may call my beliefs ego, but there is more similarity to what we say ath core than what you will admit to. You say that it is ego for me to demand that my way is true, and that I can do it on my own. Yet you will profess that your "branch"of christianity is correct,and that others are wrong, with no more proof or consideration that I give. At the core, there is no less ego there. You have no proof that your branch is not any mnore less correct as it pertains to Christianity. I find no ego in Dan's beliefs, nor Nancy's, nor Shalom's. Are so sure that your beliefs are so beyond reproach that they have to be considered wrong? Each strongly believes that jesus is the one and only path. Each thinks there slightley different take is correct. so do Buddhist's and Muslim's, and Hindu's, and Jews believe just as fervently and with just as little ego. So do those who don't believe in traditional religion, believe just as fervently as also without ego. It is arrogance to believe that yoour branch is the only that is truly pious. It shows a blindness to the world. mark
