and then ... if you ask the average person ... how much they are willing to pay for that service ... it's not going to be much more than 10 bucks for a delivery

personally ... I wish my local Meijer offered this service ... I asked them about it ... this was their response to me ...

Thank you for your suggestion, Susan.

Meijer has always been committed to finding the best ways to serve its guests, and online grocery ordering for delivery or pickup has been a popular request. However, the logistics of implementing such a service are very complex, and we are examining a number of different ways that it could be accomplished that would best meet our guests' needs. Although under consideration, it's not something we expect to offer in the near future.

Thanks for taking the time to write us. If there are any other features or products you would like to see, please let us know.

LOL...excellent analysis, Tony. I have to admit, I use webvan, and I love it. I hope they manage to stay afloat for a long time. What's even better, though, is that I short webvan during the day and in the evening use my profits to buy groceries from them...there's a beautiful symmetry to it!

A@P's "analysis" of WBVN contains several minor errors and is fundamentally flawed. Are you longs going to allow it to stand unchallenged?
