...so let's just say that u belive sun web server market share to be OVER 70%, and I say it is under 20%. How's that for a "meeting of the minds"? This is actually an 'investor' thread, twister. It would be more like a 'meeting of the portfolios'. -JCJ

Thread FYI: Briefing.com's former habitual Sun-basher Bob Walberg does something surprising in a piece this morning. This is from an article called "Twelve stocks for the next 10 years". All this proves is a change in market perception for SUNW, but it's nice to see anyway. BTW the full list of 12 stocks for the next 10 years: AOL CSCO WCOM SUNW AMAT JDSU QCOM CMRC HLTH GMH PMCS VIGN. Gee, wonder what happened to MSFT, INTC, and DELL? Oh well, they made his list of Twelve Stocks for the Last 10 years. Note: "McNealy is one of those guys you just don't bet against," just like Meister Eckhardt formerly of CPQ. --QS Sun Microsystems (SUNW): While we aren't certain whether company can sustain its current momentum throughout the decade, no doubt they are hitting on all cylinders at the moment... And McNealy is one of those guys you just don't bet against... As long as he remains at the helm of this ship, Briefing.com expects SUNW to dominate the fast-growing server market... Company's services and storage revenues also ramping up nicely.
