I didn't consider it spam. Heck how long did it take to puruse that message and tuck away as a possible research topic for the weekend. I think the fellow's attempting to make some of us more informed investors by mentioning a company in related technology. I for one appreciate additional information as long as it has some valid association to the topic of the thread.

Now, if we were inundated over and over, from the same individual, about the same unrelated thing, that IMO would be spam.
