From a Member: Hi Beth -- I am not one to write letters to reporters, but I had to write to you on this story. I have been a member of Anthony's private site, and have grown to have profound respect for the man. While you may have reported correct facts on his past actions, the negative, biased slant in the story was uncalled for. First of all, I rarely if ever see any stories citing analysts acknowledging that analyst's past, positions, or other activities. You always see quotes of analysts giving a buy rec and giving glowing comments without disclosing that they own the stock. You make it sound as if quoting someone without their past history and stock positions is highly unusual, while in fact it is almost always the case, at least as far as I've seen. Also, the quote you cite is a statement of fact -- "There is a misperception (driven by CNBC mistake) that remote access means wireless," not an opinion, so why would there be any disclosure necessary? The same fact was stated by many other analysts and reporters this week, and none of them disclosed their past or position that I saw. On ADSP, Anthony called it perfectly. The stock is worth maybe $4 (target given by one of the only analysts covering it), and was driven up by daytraders on thin holiday trading along with CNBC hype and misinformation spread on message boards. While it did go up as high as 57 on Friday after CNBC mistakenly hyped ADSP as "wireless" on Wednesday (after it looked dead and headed back down to 4), Anthony did make additional calls to short at 20 (which he cancelled when he saw the stock heading higher), 30, and 56. The stock is now around $12 and will continue to fall in the coming days/weeks. This has been my most profitable trade ever, and I didn't even get a fill on the short at $56. To call this a "poor trading call" based on one part of his calls and a temporary overinflated closing price on one day was irresponsible, inaccurate, and obviously biased. I can also tell you that from my experience with them, Matt Tyson and TC Ventures have acted extremely unprofessionally and immaturely with respect to the site members, while Anthony has always treated his members with incredible honesty, caring, generosity, and respect that most would not believe. Anthony's followers have read this story and are unanimously supportive of him based on his present and recent past actions. They have no need to "watch their leader carefully." Most members have been making more money than they thought possible, and their lives have been changed. Personally, my shorting account has more than quintupled in just the last 3 months, and I have just become a very happy millionaire, thanks to Anthony; I'll be able to provide for my family and help many more people than I would have been able to otherwise. Finally, I assume from your surname that you are Chinese American. As a Chinese American myself, I am extremely embarassed that you would write such a slanted, misguided article. Having your Chinese surname on the byline is a disgrace to our heritage. Please follow up with a real "truth serum" clarification story to help clear your (and The Street.com's) name. I would be happy to provide any insight into Anthony's site membership community. Thank you for reading my response, and I apologize if any of this is unclear, as it is very late and I'm very tired... ID Protected
