Visit the bluetooh consortium web page for the list of people. ERICY seems to be lic their engine out to people. Lots of people int he consortium however.

There is also going to be a developers conference in LA on Dec 7,8,9 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel.

I would look at what happened with the USB consortium and see how that went. This is similiar but ALOT bigger. My take is that IF it comes to real hardware and the full network topology takes place, that alot mroe than just data will be used for it. The standard includes something like 4-8 channels of video, 16 channels of audio, and 1-2 Mbit of data. At teh 20 dBm power level this is 100 meters, so you would be able to run your whole house onit. I would expect that if they made this in the $2 range, it would allow things like VCR to have a BT conneciton and port the video and audio to any place in your house, or have your stoero know where all the speakers in tehouse ar and you just asisgn all the ones you want to output the music. All yoythen need for them is power, not all the audio cables every runs today. No ned to to pre-wire you house for all the networks that peole are doing today (4 bundles of fibre, 15 bundles of ehternet, 10 coax runs, and 10 phone lines is what I saw in a custom house the other day...) just use the BT stuff to run it all.
