I'm sure the loonies will be out in force for the New Year. I suspect any dips will be of very short duration as more seasoned investors snap up any loose change. The timing would be very tight. If you are going to try to pick up a sudden dip I would suggest that rather than churn your portfolio, you use margin power to pick up the best deals and pay off the margin soon after the new year. A sell and look for the dip could leave you out of the market at a time that may see a much bigger rally than decline.
