Here's a what-if for you to ponder. And believe me, I'm not aware of anything going on but what-if.... On the day COMS IPO's PALM Microsoft announces a huge initiative to go after the PALM space including a new light weight/low power CE derivative a few dozen supporters and consumer electronics manufactures and support of companies like QCOM. What kind of effect would that have on the IPO? I doubt it would happen but if you were Microsoft and IF (big if) you were concerned about PALM OS getting more traction wouldn't this be a good move? And wouldn't it make sense to announce it the day before or day of or even week of the PALM IPO? Just thinking out loud. OG
