Questions about RIG situation

Hi marc! et al,
Since SLB is an S+P500 company, won't all the index funds holding SLB be compelled to sell the RIG shrs they're issued?

How big a factor might this be in a RIG dip?
--That is, how much SLB is owned by index funds? (Does anyone know an easy way to determine this?)
--How soon must they sell after the new RIG is issued?
--Could index funds be acting in the market in some way prior to new share issuance? Or would their index fund status prevent this?

All info, thoughts and opinions appreciated!!!

regards,
diana
