I have volunteered to assist in some research of Echelon website traffic by source. Therefore if you pursue my suggestion please do not repost it on either Raging Bull, Yahoo or Motley Fool. I will take care of that later, if appropriate. In mid November I attended an Echelon road show called Open Systems99 in Charlotte, NC. For me it was an extraordinary opportunity to gain understanding of the underlying technology and the depth of the market penetration of their LonWorks partners. John Morris, Senior Director, Channel Sales, Echelon- Americas, was the presenter. I came away from it thrilled about the company, and even more confident in my investment. This presentation has been recorded in streaming video and is available at echelon.com To participate, you will have to sign in and fill in a form. This is so marketing can develop sales leads. I filled in the blank as an investor, so I do not expect any emails. The presentation itself is great, but there's more. . .they will have a drawing after the final date December 17. The prizes are significant. Now you can see why I discourage you from proliferating this opportunity to the other ELON message boards. It improves our odds of winning. Further, I think that is why no one has posted this URL on the message board. I want to learn how many people participate and lurk on this thread, and the website can provide an anonymous count of the number of people who fill in the how-did-you-learn-about Echelon line at the bottom of the form with "Silicon Investor."
