edamo,
I think the selling is over.

I-Watch Market Commentary

DELL -- Pers Computers -- Technology
03-Dec-99 12:19:53 While the broader technology market rages higher, shares of DELL are struggling to stay on the plus-side today. The stock has edged just $3/16 higher to $45 3/16 on strong volume of 29 million shares. About 45% of this volume is related to block transactions, indicating a strong presence from the institutional community. The I-Watch data shows that the pre-trade advertising has consistently been dominated by sellers. There is apparently a large volume of stock for sale by the institutional community which has kept DELL from participating in today's rally. Taking a look at post-trade reports, there are one or two brokers who have been particularly active and are most likely selling large positions on behalf of institutional clients. As long as these brokers continue to come to the market with fresh supply of stock, DELL is going to lag the broader market. Watch for signs that these brokers have exhausted their clients' inventory - this would be evidenced by a drop in volume of new super sell messages.

ed...I might be wrong but, I think DELL just hired BBD&O – the same agency that does the commercials for GE.

My point? I think the GE stuff is on target and well done.

As someone I respect said: It takes a really GREAT client to do great advertising. I can't help but think someone's telling the agency what to do.
