Resting Bull
By James J. Cramer

12/3/99 3:22 PM ET

The bull is getting tired. All of that stampeding, all of that rodeo-ing, all of that bear-goring -- it takes its toll. The bull now needs some rest.

It's taking the afternoon off so it's rested and ready for Monday, when it will come out with nostrils flaring, looking for kodiaks to trample.

Yeah, it's that simple. You have a big week like this, and you get a little profit-taking.

On television, someone just commented, "It is not sustainable." Someone else noted that the run is narrow. A third guy said, "We should get a pullback."

Morons.

Maybe I am tired and have less tolerance for the poppycock that gets dispensed on Wall Street. But this is one darn good rally, and there are millions of people who want in and very few who want out.

The ones on the sidelines have to have this market down. But it won't obey them. Losers.
