Frank I will read this carefully later and then comment. My mind has been stuck on what would be best from an aesthetic end of the site. I spent a great deal of creative time trying to form what would work and again I come to the conclusion that the Excite end is going to be costly and Athm end could be very efficient and just due to the fact they are there way ahead of the rest. As we progress in usage of the web we will not need the hand held method of walking one through AOL so the format it has now will be obsolete. I think from a corporate point of view I would of bought ATHM if I had of been AOl because the changes are going to be enormous within the next ten years and cable isn't going to go away where AOL must constantly modify or be a has been. The site end is the reasons of issue of tracking stocks less debt on parent if it works fine if it doesn't so what. The public determines what works I need this or that creates solution. The portals are going to change they have to. There i am back to you the tech must be avaiable so the site operates efficiently and the designer isn't stuck with limit.
