This is excellent news. It means that the enormous Emotion engine that Sony has planned for Playstation 2 will soon become more manufacturable. Then Sony can really drive the volumes on PS2. And as we all know, each PS2 comes with 2 128 Mbit RDRAM chips.

Not bad for a technology which was being proclaimed "dead dead dead." (No offense to anyone, of course.) ;-)
