I don't know anything about asdv, sorry. They are in that business, people seem to like them. I don't know. Manu and Vantive are really similar. Once really good (hot) companies but the implosion of the software industry last year hit them at the wrong time. They were just getting going and lost all momentum, most management etc. and I think they will never recover. I bought manu stock when it fell that first time (a bad trade), I once was a fan of manu because they were good in the real back-end cycle stuff. But now I think they are toast. Someone could buy them but its just a gamble. Peregrine is a hot software company if you are looking at software. Not the same area though.
