CDS,

<< Change SAN's name to ESN!!! >>

Maybe. Are you sure? Are there a whole set of standards evolving (Proprietary or Open) for storage & fiber connect and who controls the evolving standards?

Analogies:

* Cisco controlled the defacto standards for router and switch evolution and moves from tornado to tornado

* The GSM community (ETSI, 3GIG, 3GPP) DEVELOPED & CONTROL the standards for 3G that, Oh by the way, happen to include a cdma air interface. Your Q investment (3G wise) is sound MAINLY because GSM put them on the map in January 1998.
