Yes, a valid point but its more of an indication of how desperate these "wacko" groups can be. Somebody owns an old growth forest by virtue of history, where private ownership was allowed before regulation. Now he wants to chop it all down. What alternative is there for the protestors? When something should be public property, but isn't?

Come on, even you have got to admit clear-cutting an old growth forest to clean up one individual's junk bond debt from a failed savings and loan is a bad idea long term!

See, that is a good example of my problem. I have not shopped at the Gap for several years, nor have I ever bought Nike, so some of it is that some issues have never come up. But beyond that, I did not know anything about the Gap being the subject of a boycott call. Now, I find out that it is in order to get at a shareholder, not the company? Faggedaboudid.........
