O.K. O.K. I'll RTFM. But please cut me some slack, the Buffet book was the first book I've read in over twenty years. So let's take it a little easy. Yeah, I read constantly, I just don't do books. Did I mention ADD runs in the family?

Anyway, two issues.

The Buffet book tells HOW to invest, nothing about in what to invest. TFM, I guess....cuz....see...i haven't read TFMY, told you how to determine WHAT to invest in.

In fact, interestingly, at the end of the book, the author relates how Buffet is always thought to not approve of technology stocks as he has never bought one, the belief being that they are too risky for his method. The author states that, quite the contrary, Buffet sees them as great investments, but for someone else, as he just doesn't understand technology enough to ensure a "high probability event" for himself.

Secondly, EMC and NTAP. Clariion has no potential in NAS?

Marc

PS: I have recently come into possession of The Buffet Way (the prequel to The Buffet Portfolio), but I promise to read one of the previously suggested selections first.
