Much to your chagrin, NN had key technologies and accepted products that are fundamental to the next massive wireless boom - specifically the rollout of LMDS especially in the emerging growth nations.

A takeover gives the shareholders a small pop now. NN thriving on its own gives the shareholders a much larger pop in, at most, about 2 years. Probably, closer to 1. And I expect to live at least another 25 years in reasonably good health. Possibly another 35.

So delaying my gratification by a year will cause me no hardship whatsoever.
