You asked a lot of questions, the answer to some are not appropriate for this forum. For those that I do not answer here, feel free to email me directly and I will share what I can. We strive to be OS independent, working on any OS that has a browser which supports JVM 1.1.7 or higher, CSS and Javascript. We offer a "lite" version of the contemporary office suite via lightweight Java applets, ex. word processors, spreadsheets, and presentation apps. We are also offering hyperfunctional groupware apps via pure HTML, ex. email that has the ability to import exchange, outlook, eudora, and netscape address book data (easily the best on the market, it is even more functional than MSFT's Outlook Express and gives Outlook 2000 a run for its money), bulletin boards, calendaring and scheduling with public and private folders which allow you to share appointments and dates with other NuoMedia members that you identify. We also offer an HTML based file manager which allows you to rename, browse, delete, upload, and download files to and from your NuoMedia webspace. We offer encryption for saving and opening files to and from your virtual hard drive via the office applications. We will offer specialized apps via the web as well - corporate valuation, mergers and acquisistion pricing, private equity pricing (venture capital valuation), along with a few other goodies along specific industry lines. If you use your imagination, you can probably guess where we are going.
