Climber, With issues of such minute detail as Gemstar's ad revenues, I tend to pay more attention to the bigger picture more than the minutia. The most exciting thing for many of us about the ad revenue in FY99, miniscule as it was, was that it came earlier than any of us expected or were led to expect my management. Pleasant surprises such as the beginnings of a major trend happening ahead of schedule are rare in investing; progress of that sort never seems to happen as fast as we think it will. --Mike Buckley
