I agree. I would never go to an area that was involved with riots. It is dangerous to be on the streets. But I did not know about the problems on Capitol Hill last Thursday night.

I feel like I've lived in a nightmare this past week. I didn't go downtown but I watched tv coverage. It was difficult to believe that the riots were here.

I do not believe the World Trade Organization can meet in the United States because there are too many lunatics on the streets.

I think they should schedule their next meeting in Singapore. Nothing like this would have happened in Singapore.

I am concerned also about the survival of sea turtles, sharks and other endangered species in our oceans. There are legitimate ways for educated people to address these concerns graphically b4 members of the WTO.

People who throw objects at the police, destroy public property, disobey police instructions when they sit in the middle of the street do not deserve our respect. If that is not enough, they demand that representatives from the WTO leave Seattle. Seriously, I doubt that the vandals and protestors who broke the law understand the purposes for the WTO meeting in Seattle.
