here is some info on the stock offering. It sounds pretty upbeat. eTOYS STUFFS ITS TOY CHEST WITH $150MM CONVERITBLE OFFERING eToys completed a $150MM convertible debt financing this week with a 61/4% coupon rate and 18% conversion price premium to its share price of $62-5/8 as of Tuesday's close. We believe this was an opportunistic financing for the company as a secondary offering could have proven too distracting to management during the company's seasonally most significant quarter. The company had $140 million in cash at the end of last quarter with an estimated quarterly cash burn rate of $25MM. Given this already strong cash position, in our view, this additional financing should prevent the company from experiencing any near-term capital constraints and strongly positions the company relative to competitors to pursue its growth initiatives, including infrastructure and distribution development, as well as international expansion.
