Hmmmm....
Put me down for 29 3/4
I think if we have another big volume day like today, the resistance will be solidly broken and we may run right past 29 3/4....but I'll stick to that because I don't think there's another big day left this year (hope I'm wrong).

El, if you're going to build a list, put me down for CPQ at $31 3/8 at the close on 991231.

I think everyone is going anticipate a huge January run-up and will buy in December. If CPQ participates it could move through 30 like nothing, same as it did last year. I could see it moving a few $$ above 30 and then closing lower with the last minute cold feet that people will get re Y2K.

Cheers!
Stuart.

El,
Put me in for 28... the pig "might" crawl this far... and I would be satisfied, all things considered.

Elwood,

My guess $36. (Just warming up for an explosion in 2000.
Compaq was a loosing PC-maker and has transformed into
an internet-infrastructure-builders. It will take a
while before Wallstreet fully wake up on that. But when
they do it simply means that the roof will go off on this
stock. It is a no brainer. Only Captain Jack probably will
never get the point. So be it).

My favorite CPQ-article this month.
yahoo.cnet.com

Making money on Wallstreet has never been so easy.
