We are only in the 1st inning of the broadband buildout in the USA. In Europe and Asia, they haven't even started the game - they are now selecting the lineups and the players. In South America, etc., the broadband game is 2-3 years away from starting. Talk about a 5-10 year run - it could be a 15-20 year run. JDSU could easily hit a $100B market cap within the next 12-24 months. $200B is possible within the next 3-4 years under good market conditions. At what level of market cap does JDSU become part of the gorilla family and leave the status as a king. I don't know the answer to that one but at 75%-95% compounded annual growth rates for the next few years, barring a long-lasting bear market or any major worldwide conflicts, IMHO JDSU will be sitting at the gorilla table along with MSFT, QCOM, AOL, CSCO, LU, and maybe a few others. That is unless a CSCO/LU buys JDSU in one of those $100B+ deals that leaves everyone gasping. Good luck everyone.
