You take the money and run straight to the bank with it in case the deal falls through.

Min price Terry accepts: $32
NT min/max buying price: $34 - $44
CSCO: $0.00

~20 Billion or ~$100 per share

These Big Guys have spent this kind of money
for less.As has been pointed out the the book
value is not the main criteria. There is an
infastructure market share war going on with
major battles being fought for customers,IP and
engineering talent.This is a Global War.There
is lots of $$$$ chasing only a few "small" prizes.
TM will get his price and a new job as a visionary
as part of the deal.

When the music stops the lucky shareholders of NN
will be sitting pretty. The traders who gambled on
one last SELL will be crying and the shorts will be
cleaning out their shorts.

This deal is gonna be rocky.Very much like how
the fore buyout went so hold on tight and dont
be fooled by a few up/down drafts.

Jim Calladine?everybodY:Critical question: What price are
we to consider adequate?

Scenario:

NT comes in at $40US/$60Can: Do we hold because TM will take
it and because CSCO will come in with higher offer?

Or,

do we sell because he won't take it and price will drop back to 20s.

I would like to open a competition; I will keep tab:

Re: What is
*the minimum price at which TM is likely to sell?
*the min/max that NT is likely to go?
*the min/max price CSCO is likely to ante up with?

Just post it here; I will start ( all in US $ ):

NAME--Min.TM accepts---Min/Max.NT offers-----Min/Max. CSCO offers
-------------------------------------------------------------
TA------$45---------------$40--$60(1 - 1 1/2 shares)--------$90 ( 1 share )

do we sell because he won't take it and price will drop back to 20s.

Way too optimistic. If word hits the street that a $40 offer has been rejected, the stock falls back to the mid to high teens.

And there is little chance that TM, or anyone else, rejects a $40 offer. The stock hasn't traded at $40 on its own for almost 2 years.

FWIW: The acrobatic pilot at Andrew Corp, when asked "Who is taking your LMDS antennas?" replied:

"Newbridge"

Not Winstar, not Stanford Telecom, but Newbridge...
