Pat and thread: Hello. I literally stumbled upon SDLI while looking up research reports over at ML's site--my rechid typing resulted in getting a research report dated 11/23/99 for this **very** interesting company.

I am going to have to print off the ML report when I get home because I'm having a real hard time reading it on the "small screen." Doing the best I can, however, I can not find mention of SDLI's competitors, noted in the report:

"The main long term challenge for the company is its ability
to acquire new products and technologies to enable it to
grow its product line as fast as its larger competitors. We
believe competition for target companies is fierce and thus
valuations are high."

Could existing shareholders please help me out with some names?

So far, SDLI looks great to me, one I am definitely considering for purchase with the cash in my IRA. Outside the company itself, I find it very refreshing to stumble upon a stock performing so well that has note resulted in a high traffic, overloaded thread.

Regards,

Lynn

Pat,

It's just a sign of this crazy mkt: 10% gain is now what 3% used to be. Probably jaded more than sedated....

To the best of my knowledge, there is no 11/23 ML report on SDLI. There was one on 10/27, I believe.

Still waiting (impatiently) for the MRVC report.
