I called the company, they had no reason.

Would not comment on takeover or signed agreement with kona, other than it is a good fit.

personally suspect the association with a B to B company had a lot to do with it. Or maybe they are now considered a B to B company by public?

In case anybody missed it there is an interesting article on page A10 in the February 22, 2000 issue of Investors Business Daily on Davox. The gist of the article was after Davox developed software that could handle inbound calls and E-Mail as well as outbound calls they started attracting new customers and growing. The company according to Alphonse Lucchese, Chairman and Chief Executive Office, should see topline growth of 20 to 25% in the future.
