Hi Dale

Been quietly watching the thread (semi-Lurk mode). Although I've been a little busy to do much trading it looks like I'll be able to join you guys, in "off" hours at least, going forward from here a little more frequently.

Managed to get a 3X out of my CS calls and the doubling down on T 2000 leaps paid off. Took nearly another triple off the table just before it started to consolidate. Actually nailed the top, how lucky can you get.

Have been looking at oil, oil service and golds lately. Just can't believe this will last much longer. Don't see many screaming buys, according to the charts, yet. But there are ton of stocks trading off substantially from 99 highs. Oil prices don't seem to want to collapse and OPEC looks like it might be trying to earn some credibility. Have been in and out of some of the service stocks playing the charts for small gains.

You might want to check the charts on a couple of my 'holders' (I'm looking for 50% ++ within 60 to 90 days from today). MDR - got really whacked with a statement in the earnings release about continuing liability with asbestos. I bought it all way down with an avg buy price of about 9 1/4. Good company with earnings potentials that are outstanding and the asbestos thing is way overblown IMHO. The other you may want to look at is MRO, a doji on big volume when the others (integrateds) were selling off.

I'm watching a couple of dozen on a daily basis, sporadically about 10 more. When the OSX and XOI start to behave I'll be ready.

The golds are a different story, something funny going on with gold. The hedged co.s as well as the pure gold miners have not receded as much as you might think they would in this last bull move. Interesting scenario setting up. Bonds up or stable, stocks up, interest rates stable (?), according to the pundits, and gold holding reasonably well. Something just don't fit.

congrats on having the best thread on SI. BTW what's the stock showing at the bottom of the thread, one of your favs????
