Just Curious Matt,

Can the webramp "ramp' together multiple
DSL lines (accounts). Or does the fact
that or does the fact that DSL pipes though
the same phone company in any way diminish
the results in some way???

Thanks,
OZ

Matt,

The webramp you're using is not a technical panacea -- you are simply dialed into multiple ISP's running a proprietary bandwidth aggregation protocol (which Ramp Networks calls the "Connection Optimized Link Technology"), that's all. Ramp Networks (www.rampnet.com) is right down the street from the networking equipment test lab I founded. I know some of their founders and understand the product technology (which is simple) -- an innovative and useful product, but no black magic in there that would fix Quote.com's server problems, as you seem to think.

Matt, it should be crystal clear to you by now that the problems going on with QCharts reside with their servers, not with user's ISP connections (although it sounds like you have suffered from some bad ones). So let's not continue trying to push that now-discredited notion that if we all had a better ISP, QCharts would be OK though, how about it? Even a direct T1 line will not help you to get good data out of QCharts (I should know), until they can extend the capacity of their servers.
