No offense taken. I do employ a broader definition of B2B, because I feel that the companies that generate business from the explosion of pure B2B commerce from companies like Purchase Pro or Ariba's growth should also be included. If TheStreet.com were to truly make a B2B index, it should have backbone companies in it, just as the Goldman Sachs e-commerce index includes Broadvision, Cisco, Exodus, Oracle, Network Associates, US Web, and VerticalNet. Actually, a lot of these companies would be in my B2B index if I were creating a B2B fund.
