If, I mean when, MTSN gets their single-wafer epi system out, they will once again be competeing with AMAT, just as they are now with the CVD systems.

One interesting item from the article is:

"Estimates from Rose Associates in Los Altos, Calif., show the demand for 200-mm epi wafers increasing at a compound annual rate of 32% between 1999 and 2003."

Not a bad market segment if MTSN can get going on it.

Ian, Thanks for your read on SVGI. I am a bit curious about your comment that "it might be a little late in the game". SVGI is down from close to 40 two years ago to the current level of 14. Further, I think most of us agree that its still early in the cycle. Do you think it too late for them to to expand their lithography customer base. That seems to be the biggest downer for the stock. Phil
